"Indeed, yes, we found water. And we didn't find just a little bit, we found a significant amount," said Anthony Colaprete, a principal project investigator at NASA's Ames Research Center.....The discovery came from an analysis of data from a spacecraft NASA intentionally crashed into the moon last month.
I hope that this article somewhat gave you hope that maybe, just maybe we will be taking our summer vacation to the moon. I chose this article because it relates to anatomy because the conditions are pretty much the same that our human bodies could survive there.
Until next time... Tootles
This is interesting but I don't think I could survive the trip to the moon. I don't like flying!
ReplyDeleteLauren...this is really interesting and a pretty major scientific discovery. Unfortunately, I your post has some pretty significant problems:
ReplyDelete1. You need to identify at least three key vocabulary terms and provide a link to their definitions.
2. You need to provide an actual summary of the article in your own words. Your first few sentences are more attention getters than explainers. Since this writing is more technical in nature, I'm much more interested in your ability to explain information than come up with some creative way of grabbing your readers' attention.
3. I'm a little concerned with your last sentence. Obviously, conditions on the moon are VERY different than they are on Earth. The discovery of water doesn't really change this. do you really think that our bodies could survive there?
4. Tag (label) each post as a "current event".

Being able to take a vacation to the moon would be the coolest thing ever. Very interesting article.
ReplyDeleteThis article was very cool but I still think that having numerous people living on the moon is very unrealistic at this time. Only because their are so many health defects of living in space. But it would be awesome to live on the moon, or go to the moon.
ReplyDeleteA trip to the moon would be cool, but living there would be kinda hard, but also very interesting at the same time. Hopefully one day we could reach that stage. Very interesting article.
ReplyDeleteWhy would we want to go anywhere else if we're already in America
